This special Grappa Riserva, distilled from the marc of the Muscat grape and other Piedmontese grape varieties, was first aged for a long time in oak barrels, and then refined for a few months in barrels from the Island of Madeira, where ‘Madeira’ from the most famous wineries was matured.
This special ageing in Madeira casks, which has already been successfully applied to whisky casks, was pioneered by us Sibona Grappa to Grappa and brings excellent quality characteristics.

The Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona is located in the Roero area in the municipality of Piobesì d’Alba, a few kilometers from Alba.
The special thing about Grappa Sibona is that it has a special distilling license, the No 1 of the UTF.
This special Grappa Riserva, distilled from the pomace of the Muscat grape and that of other Piedmontese grape varieties, was first aged for a long time in oak barrels and then refined for a few months in barrels from the island of Madeira, where ‘Madeira’ from the most famous wineries had previously been aged.
