The Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona is located in the Roero area in the municipality of Piobesì d’Alba, a few kilometers from Alba.
The special thing about Grappa Sibona is that it has a special distilling license, the No 1 of the UTF.

Nebbiolo pomace from freshly harvested grapes, selected by Sibona during the harvest, is used.
Distillation is done entirely in-house in copper stills and aging takes place for a long period in stainless steel tanks. A maturation of 2 years in medium sized classic oak barrels and 2 years in sherry barrels completes this grappa.
The storage in sherry barrels was tested by Sibona as an innovation and leads to high-quality results.

Tasting notes:

Colour: Amber.
Nose: Intense, hints of walnuts, hazelnuts.
