The Riga pharmacist Kunze invented the basic recipe for this drink as early as the 18th century.
This basic recipe is a mixture of herbs, blossoms and oils which is supplemented with natural cherry juice in Riga Balzams Black Balsam Cherry.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Fruity, sweet, slightly bitter.
Taste: Harmonious, fruity, intense cherry flavour.
Finish: Long lasting.
