Description

The genesis of the Old Hunter’s brand begins with three prominent men – Wilhelm II of Pernstein, who granted the brewing rights to the owners of the Grüner Baum house in 1518, Luis Eckelmann, the successful entrepreneur and Jakub Vojácek, the pioneering rye distiller from Prostejov.
The basis of these whiskies is a noble rye distillate, which matures in oak barrels. The traditional Czech recipe has been maintained since the 16th century.
The production takes place in the oldest distillery in Europe – Green Tree Distillery, Palírna U Zeleného stromu in Prostejov, Czech Republic.

Old Hunter’s RESERVE whisky is based on a carefully selected rye distillate, which is aged together with natural extracts from dried fruits in oak barrels for four years.
