In 1987, the name giver Aurelio Montes, Pedro Grand, Douglas Murray and Alfredo Vidaurre founded the Montes winery in Chile. The vision of the winery is to conquer the entire world market with high-quality wines from Chile. Today, the winery cultivates about 750 hectares of vineyards and also produces their excellent wine in Argentina and California.

The grapes for the Montes Cabernet Sauvignon are grown in the vineyards in the heart of the Colchagua Valley. A subtle red wine that is aged in American oak.
