Description

The Kyoto Distillery is the first Japanese gin distillery, which is located in Minami-Ku, in the south of the city of Kyoto.
The name has nothing to do with Obi-Wan Kenobi, although the pronunciation is similar.
Kenobi means ‘the beauty of the seasons’ and is inspired by Japanese tradition.
This gin is distilled and bottled in Kyoto. Japanese botanicals such as yellow yuzu, hinoki wood chips (Japanese cypress), bamboo, goyokuro tea and green sansho berries (Japanese peppercorns) are used to make it.

Tasting notes:

Color: Clear.
Nose: Fresh, sanshõ, notes of herbs, bamboo.
Taste: Juniper, ginger, Japanese spices.
Finish: Long lasting, spicy.
