Description
Château de l’Aumérade comprises 300 hectares of vineyards in a holding, 80 of which were awarded the title of Cru Classé in 1955.
Located in the plain of Pierrefeu-du-Var at the gateway to the Massif des Maures, this area with its clay and limestone soils is exposed to the sea breeze and enjoys ideal conditions for the cultivation of high quality, characteristic and fruity wines.
It produces 85% rosé, 10% red and 5% white wines.
This vintage is bottled in a bottle that resembles a vase by Emile Gallé. This was created by the famous former French synchronized swimmer Charlotte Fabre.
The history of Chateau de l’Aumérade Cru Classé is forever linked to famous people according to the motto “amateurs in search of exceptional and authentic”.
Tasting notes:
Cuvée Marie Christine is a fruity delicate rosé wine. Powdery pale pink in the glass. On the nose fruity notes of peaches and nectarines. Rich on the palate with aromatic complexity. Long finish with elegance and finesse.
Grape varieties: 35% Grenache, 35% Cinsault, 30% Syrah.
Drinking temperature: 10-12°C.
Enjoy rosé with Mediterranean as well as Asian cuisine or as a refreshing aperitif.
